It is an exciting time in Ethiopia. The Ministry of Health has made great progress in reducing infant mortality rates and improving maternal healthcare. Life expectancy is climbing up (last averaged at 66 years) in a country that is making great strides in economic, infrastructure, educational and healthcare development. However, with a population of 115 million people and an overwhelmed medical system, healthcare access for its citizens is an ongoing challenge.
Our personal experiences as three Ethiopian women with relatives and friends on both sides of the tracks – as care providers and as patients in need of care, have prompted us to start our company, Nubr Health PLC. We offer a digital health solutions platform for hospitals and health centers to help maximize the efforts of medical providers to deliver positive patient outcomes.
We offer a telehealth product that includes an easy to use electronic medical record (EMR) system, an automated triage system, virtual calls and video meetings with patients and remote patient monitoring. We also have open access education modules on health and wellness issues, a hub for healthcare providers and a public health analytics tool.
We believe that the strength of the nation is largely influenced by the health of the people. Let’s make progress together!
